Syscom Prorep rewards its partner RICOH Electronics

After a two-year absence due to the health crisis, the SPDEI held its 25th awards ceremony in Paris, recognizing the best component manufacturers over the past year. This year, the Trophées awarded by distributors went to 24 manufacturers in eight product categories.

Component manufacturers, representatives, distributors, union presidents and key figures from the electronics industry attended the 25th edition of the SPDEI Trophies, rediscovering the conviviality of exchanges in a year marked once again by shortages, and the need for all players in the industry to work together to minimize the deleterious effects of the lack of component availability, and to prepare as well as possible " the location of future electronics projects ". This was the main message from Pascal Fernandez. Welcomed by the audience, the SPDEI president also announced his retirement. A new president of the distributors' union will be appointed in the course of next year.

For this 25th edition, franchised distributors belonging to the SPDEI awarded trophies in eight product categories. Component manufacturers are rated on five criteria: partnership with the distributor; product innovation; profitability for the distributor; resources allocated to distributor support; design protection and traceability.

For this 25th edition, there was a 90% participation rate and 105 component manufacturers were nominated.

Here are the winners in the eight product families:

  • Semiconductors/Digital (logic, MCU, FPGA, memory) | 3 winners: STMicroelectronics, Nexperia, NXP
  • Semiconductors/Analog (IC's, power, discrete, sensors, Mems) | 3 winners: Infineon, Analog Devices, Ricoh Semiconductor
  • Wireless (module, RF) | 2 winners: Miromico, Mini-circuits
  • Display (LED, LCD, etc.) | 2 winners: Electronic Assembly, Kingbright
  • Passive components | 4 winners: Itelcond, TDK, Yageo Kemet, AVX
  • Connectics: 4 winners | Molex, Phoenix Contact, Souriau-Sunbank, Radiall
  • Electromechanical components, cables and accessories (cables, accessories, relays, pushbuttons, switches, keypads, etc.) | 3 winners: TE Connectivity, HellermannTyton, EBM Papst
  • Energy (power supplies, inverters, batteries) | 3 winners: Art Energie, Advanced Energy, Mean Well

On this occasion, Syscom Prorep had the privilege and honor of awarding this prize to its partner Ricoh Electronics.

Component manufacturers are rated on five criteria:

    ✔️ Partnership with the distributor
    ✔️ Product innovation
    ✔️ Profitability for the distributor
✔️ Resources allocated to support the distributor
✔️ Protection and traceability of designs.

Well done to our partner Ricoh Electronics!
