Syscom-Prorep presents the new R5651 Series from NisshinboIC Li-Ion / Li-Polymer battery protection for 3 to 5 cells.Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc has introduced the new R5651 Series, IC overcharge and discharge protection designed for Li-ion/Li-polymer cs batteries. The R5651 IC series can select the number of cells by applying a certain voltage to the SEL pin, and includes protection circuits for charge/discharge overcurrents. This new series is cascadable to handle 6 to 10 cells, and features high-precision voltage sensing as well as temperature protection via an NTC thermistor.
