When using mobile devices in particular, lighting conditions and viewing angles are not always optimal. With its EA TFT series, DISPLAY VISIONS has therefore launched a range of compact mini graphic displays that offer high-contrast viewing from all angles. Thanks to the special alignment of the liquid crystals, neither color nor contrast are impaired, even when viewed from the side, as is the case with conventional TN panels, for example. And thanks to the bright 1,000 cd/m² backlighting, the screens remain easy to read in bright sunlight. Despite this, the use of highly efficient light-emitting diodes (LEDs) means they are also very economical in terms of energy consumption. This makes them ideal for mobile devices

DISPLAY VISIONS currently offers its new IPS displays in nine different sizes (from 0.96" to 10.1") and with resolutions from 80x160 to 1280x800 pixels. Even the smallest formats can be combined with a projected capacitive touchscreen.

The compact displays are easy to operate via an SPI interface. Connection via RGB, 8-bit or 16-bit data bus is also possible. A range of displays is also available as a complete HMI solution with SPI, RS-232 or USB connection, as well as various inputs and outputs.

Designed for heavy-duty industrial and medical applications, these displays can operate over a wide temperature range from -20°C to +70°C. They have a life expectancy of 50,000 hours.
