The SIMCom SIM8980E is SIMCom's high-end LTE Cat 6 smart module (44.1 × 45.6 × 2.8 mm, LCC+LGA), based on the Qualcomm SDM660 SoC with a hybrid processor architecture (4 high-performance cores at 2.2 GHz + 4 efficiency cores). It delivers up to 300 Mbps downlink speed via 2-carrier aggregation. It features 802.11ac Wi-Fi via the Qualcomm WCN3980 chipset and Bluetooth 5.x.
